When I say Cy is a life saver, in my case, it is absolutely true. The end of May I made the terrible mistake of driving drunk and wrecking my car. I was nailed with a super drunk driving ticket. I was referred to Cy by a family member and am I glad that I was. In my particular case, albeit a rare one, a conviction of a DUI would disqualify me from a life saving operation I need due to a terminal illness. Cy listened to me and heard me out every step of the way. He is willing to work with you, but you have to be willing to work with him. I did every single thing he asked of me to do. Substance abuse evaluation, provided any requested documentation. In turn Cy was able to put together an outstanding effort which ultimately resulted in a literally life saving plea agreement. Let me be clear; this would not of been possible with any other team/lawyer. Sure there’s a price to pay for his services, but you are paying for intangibles with this man. His reputation alone is clearly top notch. The respect he is given by the employees of the court was apparent immediately. This is from years of hard work and an impeccable ability by Cy and his team to conduct themselves at the highest level both personally and professionally. I am still shocked at the level of communication I received from Cy personally. You would think a Lawyer just maybe wants your money and will do the bare minimum to collect their check. I spoke at length with more than 20 attorneys from Oakland, Macomb, and Wayne County, some at double the cost of Cy. I am certain, no other attorney could have produced the results Cy did, nor put in as much time and effort, nor provided the EXCELLENT level of response throughout the entire process. I was able to get in contact with Cy over the phone, even on a weekend, over text and through email. His response time was always IMMEDIATE. He let me know what documents would be helpful to the case, that he received the documents I sent, and even answered any unexpected questions to situations that arose outside of typical business hours. I cant imagine there is an attorney that works harder and is more available to his clients, than Cy. He was in the office every day, even during COVID when many attorneys were working from home. He was in early each morning, and even went in on Saturday for a good portion of the day to work on one of my cases. The hard work, and many hours, he put into the case yielded results no other attorney was able to offer. Many of the other attorneys I spoke with thought jail time was definitely a possibility, anywhere between a weekend to 30 days. Cy was able to avoid any jail time, and even obtain minimal sentences on both cases. Even with a prior Felony and Domestic Violence charge on my record, he was able to get a Domestic Violence Second offense reduced to Disorderly Conduct with only a year probation. He was also able to get the second Disorderly Conduct charge deferred, meaning it will not appear on my record, after a short probation. Both of these cases took phone calls to prosecuting attorneys, which HE INITIATED, followed up on, and also pursued different avenues when we received an unfavorable response from the first prosecuting attorney on the more damaging second case. Also, the good working relationships, he had established with the other attorneys, enabled him to be INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE and have good communication and resolve both cases even prior to being in the court room, which was very important to me. Furthermore, the RESPECT he has earned from the JUDGE was evident, as she stated each of the four times I was in front of her, that I was lucky to have such an upstanding, good, and well respected attorney. The third time I was in front of the judge she stated normally an individual would receive jail time for such an offense, and that I need to be thankful that Cy is SO WELL RESPECTED, and as a result my sentence was much lower than it normally would be. The fourth, and last time I was with the same judge, she specifically stated that I would not have received the limited sentences I did, if it wasnt for Cy and that I should be very thankful for his preparation and the way he represented me in the court room. The judge did not state this once about any of the other attorneys present for any of the other cases, during any of those four appearances. There were also no additional fees beyond what Cy quoted me, even as the case progressed. Even after my case was finished, and he had no other obligation to the case, he still continued to help me by providing a recommendation for a psychologist that was part of my sentencing. He even personally reached out to the doctor, explained the circumstances and let him know my financial limitations. As a result, the doctor agreed to offer his services at a lesser rate than when I had originally spoken with him. Also, after the case was done, Cy kindly typed up a cover letter and provided the letter of apology to the victim because I was unable to have contact with her as a condition of my probation. Lastly, I experienced much anxiety over the two charges I received. When that anxiety was high, he took the time to answer any questions I had, and never made me feel any shame for the mistakes I had made. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this man, he is an INCREDIBLE ATTORNEY AND INDIVIDUAL!

My first decision was to search on line for an attorney. Cy Abdo law popped up , I read others but I didnt see any good reviews , just saw what my rights are and how they will fight in court. I was quilty as charged to read about fighting in court was absurd to me.. I just seen dollars signs in everything Attorneys the most. Not to mention the horrific charges I will face for my actions . Comment: So incredibly impressed with this law firm and work recommend to anyone. I made a same day appointment when I called and Matthew sat down with me and talked about everything, they are there for you and take their time to get to know you. He discussed a variety of different plans and options about my case. Come the week of my court date I recieved an email from the attorney who would represent me in court, Joseph Campbell to check up on me before the court date. Come the morning of my pretrial I met up with Campbell and he was very assuring and counseled me. He prepared me on what I need to say and how I should speak in front of a court and judge. I was extremely nervous and anxious, he talked to me and helped me relax before speaking. He reviewed everything with me and he wanted the best outcome for me. Believe it or not he was able to give the judge a concideration and I received the best outcome I could have gotten and I could not be more relieved and impressed on the dedication he had. He really saw the potential I had and he helped me so much. I really thought I was going to have a much harder sentence, but he really wanted what was best for me and he got it. He is very dedicated and true to his word. Campbell truly connected with me and made me feel so much more comfortable than if I went alone. I wouldnt recommend anyone else!

Comment: I made a mistake that led me to Felonious Assault (assault with dangerous weapon), it is big problems, even if you have good day in court, the best result is probation from 1-2 years with fine.
