Comment: * Read*Mel was a beacon of hope to my sister and me at a time when our options appeared limited. Not only was he able to operate in a calm and empathetic demeanor, but he offered emotional support. My sister and I found Mel when we were grieving siblings who were clearly taken advantage of by a shady realtor. You would think that all potential lawyers would listen and possibly offer their services, but I can attest that upon calling 6-8 different lawyers and firms not one seemed to give me as much a deep thorough look as Mel did.I am forever grateful that he never gave up on us and put all this extra effort into our case when he didnt have to. As a result of this extra work, he discovered additional deceitful dealings that we had been unaware of and that we were able to take action upon. I worked with Mel for a longer period of time than probably was expected due to these findings as well as Covid and through this extra time he never gave up on us. Through these years he remained positive even when wading through all of my emails and answering all of my hundreds of questions, always explaining everything in detail and without judgement. Comment: Due to certain life events we have decided to file for a Bankruptcy. Our case was somewhat unique and complicated because it has a huge history of in-and-out finances which were to much to trace and prove.Just to start the process of submitting an application, the first agency we spoke with was going to charge us about 20% from our total amount we were trying to discharge, plus hourly rate after that.Finally, we have settled with a different firm, and because of the nature of our accounts transaction history, they convinced us that it is ABSOLUTELY not possible to claim Chapter 7, and that the only option for us is Chapter 13. Every time we tried to insist we were blocked with a frustrated answer that there is no chance at all.While in the process of submitting an application with 2nd firm, my wife decided to try another lawyer for the 3rd opinion, and that is how we met Melvin J. at Babi Legal Group.Mr. Melvin did everything POSSIBLE to successfully prepare and submit my case for Chapter 7, and most importantly helped us to win. Within 15 minutes of my first meeting with him, he found the issue in a real estate contract which was holding up the signing of a new lease. I was being asked to move within 2 weeks!
