Without going into my specific details, any divorce can be challenging and even more so when the individual on the other end is difficult to work with (to put it mildly). From our first conversation, I knew Shawn was going to be solid. As time went on, I realized he was great. Honest, smart, patient, understanding and thoughtful are a few of the words I’d use to describe him. I’m incredibly grateful I found him. Comment: I retained Brendon to represent me for 2 traffic citationsThe first I unlawfully stopped and issued a citation for supposedly running a red light in Livonia Mi( Ugh) He got it reduced to impeding traffic which will not be reported to my insurance company also instead of 3 points on my driving record is new zero. The second was another citation he got dismissed again reducing the points from 3 to zero. This ultimately saved me thousands in insurance premiums. His honesty, intelligence and ability to resolve cases favorably for his clients is a rare find amongst attorneys.

Comment: Brendons performance was incredible. He always gave solid advise and never gave any pressure as to what my decisions should be. After I rejected the first two plea deals a third acceptable option was presented.As far as what I was charged with, I had the best intentions and only did what any sane person would know to be right but according to the word of letter of the law; I did break it. My belief was always that if it went to trial then it would be likely that a jury would choose to annul the charges in my case. Without the need for a trial he was able to argue get that while the letter of the law was broken the intention of the law was not. The criminal misdemeanor reduced to a civil infraction and he kept my record free of criminal convictions.Truly incredible. I highly recommend.

Each time he had the upmost respect for my case and brought confidence to the table, which is very nice to see when your on the defense side of the law. Comment: About six weeks ago, I was given my first ticket. I made a split second decision, and took the wrong route. The roads were rough, and it was pitch-black out. The obscurity of this scene cost me a clean driving record; it was now spelled out, marked by a word: MISDEMEANOR. In addition, I had a $250 dollar fine to pay, with an undefined cost . . . for I now needed a lawyer. . . .Brendon first met me at the cafe which I frequented. As we sat over tea, he broke down each precinct, and poured over its procedures. We carded through a comfortable discussion, and the topic held a light air in its fingers; I had the impression that we were talking over something such as the college plans I had. As he patiently answered all of my questions for me, I found myself completely at ease. I soon understood the specifics in my case. Brendons manner and his verbal style were wonderfully laid out- I found his words to be straightforward and direct. At the close of the session, I knew the chances in the case provided to me . . . I also knew had one of the toughest judges in the court with which to contend. This was a fact- one that we could not circumnavigate.I met him again outside of the courtroom on the scheduled day. He explained the process to me, and the best possible solution offered. I quickly consented to the option he presented, knowing that it was the best possible choice. We went into the courtroom and met with my father; he also knew also the probabilities in the case. We did not expect a dismissal.The results were unexpected. At this hour, I still know not how they were manifested- only that I am truly grateful, and this sentiment will remain steadfast.My entire decision on that night was erased due to Brendons defense. My record is clean, as though it had never been marked. I left the court that day with considerable savings, and results that were almost never seen-a full dismissal of the case at hand.
