Comment: The best lawyers hands down. Maggie George was my lawyer, and she is nothing short of amazing, she saved my career. I was arrested and issues an OWI 2nd offense 1 year ago. At that time i thought the stop was bogus, I was pulled over by wayne state police and a trainee, who claimed that I had went straight through a left turn lane instead of turning late, near cass tech high school. I was terrified as this 2nd offense could have resulted in me losing my medical license and the end of my career as a physician. I initially had a lawyer who did not understand the severity of the consequences of this 2nd offense. We did not get a long and i made the switch to george law.From the moment I walked into the door, they sat down with me for an hour and took the time to understand my situation. I had already been voluntarily testing for alcohol, going to therapy, attending AA regularly and had a sponsor before meeting with Maggie. They advised me to keep on doing everything I was doing and believed I had a chance at a deviation. We submitted a deviation to plead to a lesser charge but was ultimately rejected by the prosecutor. The prosecutor did not have any sympathy and was not willing to budge. She told us that if we did not like what they were offering, we should go to trial. Maggie advised me not to take the deal and to continue fighting. We set for a motion hearing, to suppress the evidence. The prosecutor told us again that we would lose in trial and to take what she was offering. Maggie again, stood her ground and told me not to take the deal they were offering. We went to the motion hearing, and the prosecutor did not have any evidence to use against us, as the video and audio evidence had many holes in it and the arresting officer was no longer with the police department or apart of any law enforcement agency. Ultimately the case was completely dismissed and I had been cleared from all charges. On top of that Maggie submitted for the arrest records to be destroyed.If it was not for Maggie and the george law team, my life would be completely different right now. She stood her ground, and fought for me for over a year and ultimately we got the best outcome possible.I highly recommend George Law to represent you. If you are willing to put in the work and meet them half way with your efforts, they will fight for you harder than anyone else. They fought my case for over a year! And at anytimes, if i had any questions or needed to talk to them, Maggie was always available through texts at any time of the day. If she was busy, someone else would get back to me immediately.Dont waste your time and hire an attorney who isnt willing to go to the depths and grind it out for you when everything is working against you. George Law is the only team that will do this!

Comment: I was looking for an attorney to expunge my record and I saw that George Law has some really good reviews. It turns out the good reviews are true! My attorney Jack Burke was phenomenal! I was able to apply to expunge a conviction from a long time ago. He was very informative throughout the entire process. The consultation was helpful and he was upfront about the entire process and the timeline. I can officially say that I no longer have a conviction on my record after about 5 months since the initial consultation (timeline was dependent on the State of Michigan). Jack did his due diligence and held up his end of the bargain flawlessly. If you need an attorney to help clean up your record, make sure you give him a call! That is one of his favorite things when practicing law: expunge convictions!Thanks Jack!

Comment: I literally had the toughest judge for an OWI and DWLS with 7 bond violations at Bloomfield Hills 48th District Court in one of the hardest cities in one of the toughest counties in the state of Michigan. At sentencing I had seven Bond violations and this man somehow got me ZEROOOO time in jail!!! I watched case after case of this Judge sending people to jail from between 10 to 93 days for the same offense!!! I got 0 days in jail and only 12 months probation. The Judge said you have the best lawyer and you are still violating bond while drinking! I all the way recommend Derrick! He saved my life! I am blessed.

I have to say that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I was shocked at first as Derrick picked up the first time I called and with no notice discussed my circumstances at length. While I was speaking to him he was texting me notes about the conversation I was having at that exact moment. He then came and picked me up from work as I was unable to drive and we began from there. Right out the gate I could tell this guy was on a different level. I was in the beginning stages of facing some serious charges and being truthful I was scared. From the moment I called and spoke with Derrick my mind was put at ease. I knew there was no way I was going to walk away from everything with a clean slate as I was facing 2-felonies and 3-misdemeanors, but I could sense that the man in front of me was going to help me in ways that other attorneys could not. Comment: Where do I even begin. Derrick E. George is not just a fantastic lawyer, he is also a top notch honest man. In December of 2017 I had put myself in a very tight spot. I was arrested for a super drunk O.W.I. Now understand, this isnt just in the .2s or the high .2s. I am talking that I was the highest B.A.C that he has ever seen in his entire career as a lawyer (doing this for as long as he has, with all the experience) that was a HUGE and I mean HUGE slap in the face on my part. To top it off, I was going to be sentenced by one of the toughest, none heart warming, appropriatly aggressive judges in one of the toughest courts in Oakland County. To say the least I knew I had some serious consequences coming. However Derrick remained calm, collective, professional and held a strong passion when he took me in as a client. Now he did not sugar coat it, make any promises or make any action or statement that wasnt true. He worked with me all the way through the 5 month procedure. Comment: He got my mom her money back! We had an agreement with an acquaintance to do some renovation work on my mom’s basement. The work wasn’t done and the guy wouldn’t give our money back to us. He just ignored us really. We retained Attorney George and he was able to get the guy to agree to pay us back and he facilitated the whole thing without the matter having to go through all the court proceedings and taking lengthy amounts of time. Attorney George knew exactly what to do and used his persuasive skills to get the other side to come to an agreement.

Comment: I had a case where my brother and I were unfairly charged for assault. I had the good sense to hire an attorney that Id heard was well-versed in the Novi courts and had a lot of experience with the judges there and it was completely the right decision. Comment: I had a DUI situation that was a little different because I dont live in Michigan but got pulled over in this state. Troy to be exact, which Ive heard is extremely strict and punitive about DUIs. I was nervous about what I was looking at as a worst-case scenario. I couldnt afford to be detained in Michigan for any reason because I couldnt lose my job out of state. Derrick had so much experience in this field and especially in the city of Troy. He was able to find a lesser known solution and instead of just being the attorney that shows up and gets whatever punishment is dealt to his client, he worked with the prosecutor and really vouched for me to get a result that was better than what I was hoping for. Comment: Hire the best DUI Lawyer!I had a very complicated hIgh BAC DUI/OWI case in 52-4 District Court in Troy. Because I dont technically live in this country, but I work in it for an OEM Mr. George had absolute knowledge of how to proceed with my case and had a plan put together after the first time we met. Aside from that his response time was lightning fast and he spent hours on the phone with me to fully understand the situation and help alleviate my worries.
